91.3.4 Enforce, Quash, or Modify a Foreign Subpoena
1. Upon receipt of an application (or motion) to enforce, quash, or modify a Quick Reference
subpoena issued by the clerk, collect the filing fee for a circuit civil
action.
2. Apply the FILED stamp to the application; add the date and your
initials. Event type OH
3. If a hearing is requested, schedule the hearing using event type OH and
issue a summons as directed by the filing party. See Service of Process.
4. If no hearing is requested, present the application to the judge.

5. Upon receipt of a signed Judgment or order, apply the ENTERED stamp;
add the date and your initials.
6. Enter the order on a document screen, including a brief description using
Document type:
document type as appropriate:
OMOD
OMOD – Order Modifying OQSH
OQSH – Order to Quash OO
OO – Order - Other Notice of entry
7. Serve notice of entry on every party who is not in default or who has not
filed a written waiver of notice. Make an entry on the document screen
showing the manner and date of service of notice of entry.

91.4 Compel Attendance of Witness
KRS 421.240
 A judge in another state may present a certificate to any judge of this state
indicating that a person within this state is a material witness in a
prosecution or grand jury investigation in another state and that his/her
presence will be required. See Compel a Witness.
