26.1 Contacting Court Interpreting Services
A Contact Person must be designated in each county by the Chief District Quick Reference
Judge or Chief Circuit Judge who will be responsible for scheduling a staff
interpreter or freelance interpreter for court proceedings or direct services.
The contact person may be a judge’s secretary, court administrator, or other
Court of Justice employee.
Upon receipt of a request or need of an interpreter the Contact Person should AOC INT-10
complete one of the following AOC forms: AOC INT-11
 AOC Form INT-10, Request for Interpreter/Assistive Technology “Deaf/Hard of
Hearing” may be used.
Contacting CIS:
 AOC Form INT-11, Request for Interpreter/Assistive Technology Attorney who statewideinterpreterreq
is “Deaf/Hard of Hearing” may be used. uest@kycourts.net

After completion of the appropriate form, the Contact Person may contact http://courts.ky.gov/co
