37.2 Order
1. Upon receipt of a signed Order, apply the ENTERED stamp; add the date Quick Reference
and your initials. Enter, date, initial
2. Enter the Order on the document screen including a brief description. For
more information, see Notice of Entry.
3. After the Order is entered, serve notice of entry on every party who is not
in default or who has not filed a written waiver of notice. Make an entry on Notice of entry
the document screen showing the manner and date of service of notice of
entry of the Decree or Order. For more information, see Notice of Entry.
4. When the Order closes the case, complete the disposition date, disposition
type and judge at disposition fields on the case screen. Close case

 A writ of execution is a post-judgment order to the sheriff to seize and sell property of the
judgment debtor to satisfy the judgment of the court. Execution may also issue on certain
bonds which have the effect of a judgment. These include bonds given by the purchaser at
execution and judicial sales, replevin bonds and forthcoming bonds. KRS 426.610.
