D. Respondent Meets the Criteria for Continued Involuntary
Commitment
1. If, on AOC Form 708.6, Review Hearing Order, the court or the jury Quick Reference
finds that the Commonwealth did establish beyond a reasonable AOC Form 708.6
doubt that Respondent continues to meet the criteria for involuntary Enter, date, initial
commitment apply the ENTERED stamp; add the date and your
initials. Complete a document screen. Use document type ORHCC. DOC Type ORHCC
Give notice of entry by mailing to:

• Commonwealth's Attorney
• Respondent / Respondent’s Attorney
• Guardian ad Litem

2. Close the case on the case screen by completing the disposition date, Quick Reference
disposition type JJT or JCT, and judge at disposition. Disposition Type JJT
or JCT
3. If the circuit judge requests that the next review hearing be scheduled
at this time, provide the judge AOC Form 708.5, Order Scheduling AOC Form 708.5
Review Hearing and Setting Examination. Upon receipt of a completed Enter, date, initial
and signed AOC Form 708.5, apply the ENTERED stamp; apply the DOC type OSRHE
date and your initials. Enter the order in the document screen. Use Scheduled event
document code OSRHE. Set a review hearing according to circuit SRH or HRH
judge’s instructions. Enter on a scheduled events screen. Use
scheduled event code SRH or HRH.

• Respondent / Respondent’s Attorney
• Guardian ad Litem
Attach two blank
• Forensic Psychiatric Facility (include two additional blank copies of AOC Form
copies for Physician and QMHP, and attach to each a blank 708.3 for the
AOC-708.3, Examination Certification for Involuntary QMHPs
Commitment)
