56.6.13 Petition Contested
1. Counsel for the juvenile may advise the court in writing of the desire
to contest the petition.
2. Apply the FILED stamp to the document; add the date and your File, date, initial
initials. Complete a document screen.
Schedule
3. Schedule a certification hearing within 7 days from the filing of the
certification
pleading contesting the petition, excluding weekends and holidays,
hearing
as directed by your judge. Complete a scheduled event screen using
Event type OH
event type OH.
4. When a signed order is received, apply the ENTERED stamp; add Enter, date, initial
the date and your initials. Complete a document screen, including
date and method of service. Serve a copy of the order on counsel of Serve copy
record and the hospital/facility, if appropriate.

1. A hospital/facility may petition the court for a determination if a
patient, involuntary hospitalized, refuses treatment. KRS
645.170(3). File, date, initial

and include in memo a brief description.
3. Schedule a hearing within 7 days of the filing of the petition, Schedule hearing
