Case Type Definition
DCTG – DRUG COURT TRANSFER This case type is used by receiving county when a case
GUILTY containing an offense(s) is disposed of as DCTG– Drug Court
Transfer Guilty and has been transferred from another
county.
DCTD – DRUG COURT TRANSFER This case type is used by receiving county, when a case
DIVERSION containing an offense(s) is disposed of as a “diversion” and
has been transferred from another county.
DDP – DENIED DOMESTIC This case type is used when a domestic violence petition was
PETITION denied by the court.
DE – DELINQUENCY (PUBLIC A case involving a violation of any federal, state, local law or
OFFENSE) municipal ordinance by a child, which if committed by an
adult, would subject such adult to criminal prosecution.
DEBT – SELLER PLAINTIFF (DEBT A case in which the plaintiff/seller brings suit against a buyer
COLLECTION) of goods or services for failure to pay as promised in an
expressed or implied contract.
DFOTH – DOMESTIC RELATIONS – A case involving family members (or others considered to be
OTHER involved in a domestic relationship). Use this case type for
domestic relations cases of unknown specificity, when
domestic relations cases are not attributable to one of the
other previously defined domestic relations case types, or
when all domestic relations cases are reported as a single
case type.
DIP – DENIED INTERPERSONAL This case type is used when a interpersonal protective
PROTECTIVE PETITION petition was denied by the court.
DISPU – EMPLOYMENT DISPUTE – A case involving any dispute between an employer and
OTHER employee over the conditions, terms or termination of
employment. Use this case type for employment dispute
cases of unknown specificity, when employment dispute
cases are not attributable to another previously defined
