598 chars(1) Livestock or poultry governed by this bylaw shall be raised and kept in a safe and
humane manner, consistent with best agricultural practices, and as required under all
applicable Commonwealth and local regulations. Regulations for the raising and
keeping of livestock or poultry may be promulgated by the Health Director, following
consultation with the Animal Welfare Officer and the Agricultural Commission. The
regulations shall be published and otherwise made available to members of the public
and prospective registrants.
