 This article shall not repeal, annul or in any way impair or remove the necessity
of compliance with any applicable rules, regulations, ordinances, permits or provisions
of law. Where this article imposes a greater restriction upon the use of land or
structures, the provisions of this article shall control. Where one (1) section of this
article imposes a greater restriction upon the use of land or structures than another
section, the provisions of the stricter section shall control.

Sec. 5-153. Validity and severability.

 If any section or provision of this article is declared by the courts to be
invalid, such decision shall not invalidate any other section or provision of this
ordinance.
