Multi-face signs For two-face signs, if the interior angle
between the two sign faces is 45 degrees or
less and the sign faces are less than 42
inches apart, the sign area is determined by
the measurement of one sign face only. If
the angle between the two sign faces is
greater than 45 degrees, the sign area is the
sum of the areas of the two sign faces.
For three- or four-face signs, the sign area is
50 percent of the sum of the areas of all
sign faces.

Spherical, free- Spherical, free-form, or sculptural signs are
form, or measured as 50% of the sum of the areas of
sculptural signs the four vertical sides of the smallest four-
sided polyhedron that will encompass the
sign structure. Signs with greater than four
polyhedron faces are prohibited.

Note: Numerals and letters used to identify an address are not included in the determination of sign area.

Building- The height of signs mounted on a building is

to the top of the sign or sign structure.

Freestanding Sign height is measured as the vertical
signs distance from the finished grade at the base
of a sign to the top of the sign exclusive of
any filling, berming, mounding, or
landscaping solely for the purpose of
locating the sign and excluding decorative
embellishments as permitted in Section 19.7.
