The defendant required prospective tenants to have a gross weekly-income that was “close to or [exceeded] one month’s rent.” If a person’s income was close to the minimum required by the defendant, the defendant would permit that person to proceed with a lease guarantor whose income met the guideline. The defendant also required a verification of income, references from former landlords and a credit check.
