The operator of every rooming house shall change supplied bed linen and towels
therein at least once each week, and prior to the letting of any room to any
occupant. The operator shall be responsible for the maintenance of all supplied
bedding in a clean and sanitary manner.

ARTICLE V. PLUMBING*

Sec. 12-120. Proper installation and maintenance required.

All plumbing shall be properly installed and maintained in a good sanitary
working condition, free from defects, leaks and obstructions.

Sec. 12-121. Compliance with requirements prerequisite to occupying or letting
dwelling or dwelling unit.

No person shall occupy as owner or let to another for occupancy any dwelling or
dwelling unit, for the purpose of living, sleeping, cooking, or eating therein, which
does not comply with the following requirements:

(1) Kitchen sink required. Every dwelling unit shall contain a kitchen sink in good
working condition and properly connected to a water and sewer system approved
by the plumbing inspector.

(2) Flush water closet and lavatory basin required. Every dwelling unit shall
contain, within a room which affords privacy, a flush water closet and a
lavatory basin in good working condition and properly connected to a water and
sewer system approved by the plumbing inspector.

(3) Bathtub or shower required. Every dwelling unit shall contain, within a room
which affords privacy, a bathtub or shower in good working condition and
properly connected to a water and sewer system approved by the plumbing
inspector.
