730 charsIt shall be the duty of every weigher to attend to the scales that may be assigned to him, to deliver to the driver or owner of every load of hay, straw or other article weighed, a certificate specifying the name of the driver or owner, his place of residence, the article or merchandise weighed, weight and fare, the fees charged and received, and the date and number of the certificate. He shall keep a record, in a book to be furnished by the city, of all hay and other articles weighed by him and shall deliver the book to the city clerk at the expiration of his term of office. The record shall contain all the particulars that are required to be stated in the certificate aforesaid. § 28. Measurers of Wood, Bark or Charcoal
