The defendants also contend in their brief that, even if the relators are entitled to recovery, any damages should be based on breach of contract rather than for discriminatory practices. This contention is unsupported by further discussion or references to authority, and its import is, in any event, unclear to this court. Insofar as this assertion and an incomplete sentence immediately thereafter constitute the whole of the defendants’ attention to this issue, we view it as abandoned, and we decline to address it further. 20
