reported incidents of discrimination by landlords, members of protected classes (particularly racial minorities)
being watched or stared at while in their neighborhood, and coded complaints that carry discriminatory
implications. Recent steps to increase the Town’s capacity to address these issues is a good first step, but only a
partial one. These measures will need to be matched by continued material support for integration and fair
housing choice.
