comparison region of 10%, meaning that Arlington has roughly the same proportion of residents with a disability
as the larger comparison region. Boston has the highest share of persons with disabilities, and the municipalities
to the north of Boston generally have a higher share than those to the west. Outside of a high concentration in
Boston, which has a high degree of access to transit and services, it is not clear why this pattern exists.
