The distribution of Section 235 units by household income shows that 37.3% have incomes in excess of $7,000, of which 18% are above $8,000 and 2.1% above $10,000. Fewer than one-half of one per cent have incomes below $3,000. More significant is the distribution within the $3,000 to $7,000 range. With every increase (in 000s) in income within that group, the percentage of Section 235 units increases. Moreover, with one exception, the annual subsidy per unit is constant or increases
