372 charsGeneral Statutes § 47a-23 (a) (2) provides that when an owner desires to obtain possession of a premises and “when such premises, or any part thereof, is occupied by one who never had a right or privilege to occupy such premises . . . such owner’s . . . legal representative . . . shall give notice to each . . . occupant to quit possession or occupancy” of such premises.
