337 charsThe judge's finding was premised on evidence that Shepard told Stella's son Joseph to get out of the yard, calling him a "retard." At the same time, however, the judge credited Shepard's testimony that he did not want Joseph in the yard because of his use of profanity, including sexual profanity, around Shepard's much younger children.
