441 charsRespondent opposes the motion arguing that the property damage claim is directly related to the rent action. She states that when she moved into the apartment in April 1986, her front door was insecure and that she requested a new door. However, the prior landlord repaired the door instead of replacing it. Ms. Braxton asserts that the locks kept falling off the door and that the door could be pushed open even when secured by three locks.
