301 charsIn June 1987, petitioner commenced this nonpayment proceeding based on respondent’s failure to pay rent from October 1986 through May 1987. Ms. Braxton, the respondent, failed to answer the petition and the action came before me for an inquest. She appeared in court on the return date of the inquest.
