¶38 We once declined to address adopting section 17.6 where the plaintiff (a nontenant) alleged negligence against the landlord but failed to provide adequate support and policy considerations for adopting section 17.6 in the context of nontenants. Pruitt v. Savage, 128 Wn. App 327, 332, 115 P.3d 1000 (2005). We also declined to adopt section 17.6 when the dangerous condition was located in a common area and the plaintiff (also a nontenant) was able to pursue á claim under a different theory of landlord liability. Sjogren v. Props, of Pac. Nw., LLC, 118 Wn. App. 144,151, 75 P.3d 592 (2003).
