¶19 The decision to consider new or additional evidence presented with a motion for reconsideration is squarely within the trial court’s discretion. Chen, 86 Wn. App. at 192. “ Tn the context of summary judgment, unlike in a trial, there is no prejudice if the court considers additional facts on reconsideration.’ ” August v. U.S. Bancorp, 146 Wn. App. 328, 347,190 P.3d 86 (2008) (quoting Chen, 86 Wn. App. at 192). Generally, nothing in CR 59 prohibits the submission of new or additional materials on reconsideration.3 Chen, 86 Wn. App. at 192.
