 access by the Occupant shall neither deem the Dwelling Unit to be in compliance with
the State Sanitary Code nor bar the Occupant from exercising legal rights. The Principal
Code Official may cause the Dwelling Unit to be inspected pursuant to the terms herein
in the manner provided for in the State Sanitary Code.

(4) Notice of Additional Inspections. For any inspection authorized by this Bylaw or other
laws, codes, bylaws, or regulations, other than an initial or renewal inspection, the Town
shall attempt to give the Owner or Person-In-Charge reasonable notification of the date
and time of the inspection.

(5) Court Relief. If there is a known violation which impedes on the health, safety, or welfare
of the Occupant or the general public, and a tenant objects to such inspection, the Code
Enforcement Officer may apply for an administrative warrant from the appropriate
official before the Code Enforcement Officer inspects the non-consenting tenant's
Dwelling Unit.

M. Violations, Enforcement, and Penalties

(1) Violations.

a. Failure to comply with any requirement of this Bylaw shall constitute a violation
subject to monetary and non-monetary penalties set forth in Section M.2. below.

b. Every day in which a violation continues shall be considered to be a separate
offense.

c. If more than one violation has occurred, each shall be considered a separate
offense.
