(2) All Dwellings, Dwelling Units, and Rooming Units regulated hereunder shall comply
with all applicable local bylaws and regulations, as well as all state laws and health,
building and fire codes. All inspections, enforcement, and other actions taken under
these laws, codes, or regulations are authorized under those applicable local and state
laws, codes, and regulations, as amended.
E. Exemptions
This Bylaw's provisions pertaining to Permits shall not apply to the following:
(1) Lodging Facilities.
(2) Group Homes.
(3) Dormitories owned and operated by an Educational Institution and located in the
Education District (ED) in the Town Zoning Map.
(4) Residential Rental Property rented less than 14 days cumulative in a calendar year.
F. Application
(1) Applications Requirements. In order to obtain a Residential Rental Permit, the Property
Owner must submit an application containing the following information:
a. The address of the Residential Rental Property.
b. The name, contact mailing address, valid telephone number(s), and valid email
address for each Owner. If the Owner is not an individual, the application must list
the names, addresses, valid telephone numbers, and valid email addresses of each
member or partner of the Owner.
c. The name(s), contact mailing address(es), valid telephone number(s), and valid email
address(es) for the Person-In-Charge. Notices given to a Person-In-Charge shall be
sufficient to satisfy any requirement of notice to the Owner. The Owner shall notify
the Principal Code Official in writing of any change of Person-In-Charge, or any
contact information for the Person-In-Charge, within 14 days of the change.
