477 charsThe majority states in footnote 8 of its opinion that it need not address whether the first notice to quit served by the plaintiffs is valid as a result of its conclusion that the trial court lacked subject matter jurisdiction over the summary process action because of the plaintiffs’ failure to serve a second notice to quit. Like the majority, I assume, for purposes of addressing the plaintiffs’ first claim, that the first notice to quit served by the plaintiffs is valid.
