The Yakima Housing Authority, Sunnyside Housing Authority, Tacoma Housing Authority, Pierce County Housing Authority, and Seattle Housing Authority all changed their procedures after HUD gave them permission to do so. The King County Housing Authority has initiated procedures to eliminate grievance hearings. The Seattle and King County Housing Authorities concede that they made these changes in response to HUD’s due process determination.
