321 charsThe tenant filed a counterclaim requesting damages due to the numerous defective conditions existing in the rental housing unit. Since the damages requested by the tenant by way of counterclaim exceeded the jurisdictional amount of the Jefferson District Court, this matter was transferred to the Jefferson Circuit Court.
