On cross-examination, Li first testified that Zhang needed her to sign the credit authorization form because he was afraid he would not be able to lease the building. Then, when asked by the plaintiffs counsel, “[ljease which building, ma’am? The budding in Connecticut, correct?” she backtracked and said, “Every time he did not talk about leasing the building.
