Other provisions in this section include a limitation on the landlord who may use the security only in such amounts as are reasonábly necessary to remedy tenant defaults in the rent or to repair damages caused by the tenant. Also, a bad faith retention of the security by the landlord can subject him to damages not to exceed $200 in addition to any actual damages. “Nonrefundable” security is prohibited. 3
