405 charsThe elements of promissory es-toppel are a (1) promise which the promisor should reasonably expect to induce action or forebearance on the part of the promisee or a third person, and (2) which does induce such action or forebearance, and is (3) held binding because injustice can be avoided only by enforcement of the promise.
