*572In the execution of that instrument the plaintiff acknowledged the receipt of $6,500 and declared the same tobe in full satisfaction of a judgment which he had recovered against the defendant and his former partner David S. Bigham, and that the sum so received was also “ in full satisfaction of all claims and demands” then held by him “ against said Bigham and Webb, or either of them,”
