In maintaining that no such warranty arose here, plaintiff relies heavily on the contention that the house was not “new.” He directs our attention to his testimony that he began building it in the “fall” of 1982, and that “some people lived in it all the winter before she bought it.” Plaintiff also insists that the house was not “completed” when defendant contracted to buy it. He reminds us that there was no carpet in the living room, and that there was no insulation in the living room ceiling. Additionally, says plaintiff, the footings and foundation were incomplete, and the lot was “unlandscaped.”
