Under the UCC, a security interest continues in collateral notwithstanding its sale or disposition unless the secured party authorized the disposition. Minn.Stat. § 336.9-315(a)(l) (2002). Conseco did not authorize the sheriffs sale of the manufactured home. Thus, its security interest was not extinguished by the sale to Uni-prop, and the district court did not err in granting summary judgment declaring Conseco’s right to permanent possession of the manufactured home.
