Following the issuance of a notice of violation and an order
to correct violations, the enforcement authority or a housing
safety official designated by the city manager will reinspect once
for no fee in order to determine whether the violations have been
fixed in compliance with this chapter. If the violations have not
been fixed in compliance with this chapter, the violator shall be
assessed a fee as set forth in the fee schedule adopted pursuant to
6-92 for each subsequent reinspection. Failure to pay the
assessment for reinspection shall create a lien on the property of
the violator and the assessment and lien shall be collected and
enforced pursuant to section 1-16.
