490 chars3. Implied warranty of habitability. The plaintiff argues that the judge erroneously granted the defendant’s motion for a directed verdict as to the plaintiff’s claim of breach of the implied warranty of habitability.7 According to the plaintiff, the defendant is liable under the implied warranty of habitability for injuries resulting from the failure of the landlord to comply with State sanitary and building code provisions that require the removal of snow and ice. There was no error.
