Petitioners and respondent appeared in court on December 6, 2005. Respondent argued that all the notices that petitioners *372served him were insufficient, vague, and ambiguous and that petitioners served the notices improperly. Petitioners argued that the notices were clear and did not prejudice respondent. In an order dated January 12, 2006, the Honorable Pam JackmanBrown dismissed the proceeding without prejudice. (See Nestor v Britt, Hous Part, Civ Ct, NY County, Jan. 12, 2006, JackmanBrown, J., Index No. 100842/05.)
