Justice-impacted status. This chapter does not prohibit any distinction, differential treatment, inquiry,
or determination on the basis of justice-impacted status if it is required or authorized
by federal or state law, regulation, rule, or government contract, or when necessary
to determine eligibility or compliance with a federal or state law, regulation, rule,
or government contract, or when it is because of a legitimate business justification
or legitimate risk to safety or property.
