991 charsThis Summary Process action was commenced by a writ, summons and complaint returnable to the court on February 10, 2026. The plaintiff's complaint sets forth three separate counts. The first count alleges that the defendant has engaged in conduct that constitutes a serious nuisance. The second count alleges that the defendant has engaged in conduct that constitutes a nuisance. The third count alleges that the defendant has engaged in conduct that constitutes a breach of the express provisions of the lease and/or the regulations promulgated in accordance with the provisions of Section 47a-9 of the Connecticut General Statutes. Prior to the commencement of the action, the plaintiff caused a Notice to Quit and Concurrent Pre-Termination Notice to be served upon the defendant on December 29, 2025. This notice outlined the factual bases for each count of the complaint and demanded that the defendant quit possession or occupancy of the subject premises on or before January 18, 2026.
