§ 85-2
Purpose.
This chapter is adopted for the purposes set forth in RSA 48-A:2, and for the health, safety, and general welfare of the residents, to the end that any dwelling within the City which is unfit for human habitation due to dilapidation, dangerous defects which are likely to result in fire, accidents or other calamities, unhealthful lack of ventilation or sanitary facilities, or due to other unhealthy or dilapidated or hazardous conditions, may be caused to be repaired, closed, demolished, or removed from the City, or, if injurious to the public health, safety and welfare, the use and occupancy of the same may be prevented.
