274 chars. It is undisputed in this case that the residuary clause in testatrix’s will created a general devise of the property at issue. This is consistent with the general rule "that a residuary bequest is general, and not specific.” In re Martin, 25 R.I. 1, 54 A. 589, 596 (1903).
