372 charsUnder the amended RSL § 26-516 (a)(2), "recovery of overcharge penalties shall be limited to the six years preceding the complaint," and treble damages "shall be assessed upon all overcharges willfully collected by the owner starting six years before the complaint is filed." As such, the matter is remanded to the motion court for a recalculation of damages and interest.
