There are compelling reasons to interpret that section more broadly. Read in context, that section extends coverage to a broad range of claims against landlords. The section includes claims for eviction, an act primarily done by landlords because eviction implies a superior title to the property. Given that the Broad Form Endorsement contemplates some claims against landlords, the abstract and general nature of the phrase “invasion[s] of the right of private occupancy” suggests that it covers the general category of such claims.
