395 charsCounsel noted that landlord’s principal, Mr. Weinberg, was also an attorney of record, and asserted that Mr. Weinberg’s earlier telephone call notifying the court that he was ill and that his counsel was delayed effectively constituted a request for continuance. Landlqrd’s counsel also stated that he had been ready for trial’ several times before in this case, only to have no judge available.
