¶ 17. Plaintiffs further contend the court erred in rejecting their attempt to hold defendant Warren Palmer, the sole shareholder of the defendant business entities, personally hable under a theory of corporate “alter-ego.” The court found that plaintiffs failed to demonstrate that the corporate form was being used to perpetrate a fraud or injustice, and plaintiffs have cited no evidence or law to undermine this finding. See Agway, Inc. v. Brooks, 173 Vt. 259, 262, 790 A.2d 438, 441 (2001) (observing that court may pierce corporate veil only where it is necessary to prevent fraud or injustice, and that the court’s findings in this regard will be overturned only where there is no credible evidence to support them).
