The enforcement officer or his/her delegate shall investigate each complaint received by the enforcement agency within seven (7) business days of its receipt to determine if violations exist and to commence correction of same. There shall be a written record of each complaint which includes the source of the complaint, the findings of the investigation and the action taken, if any. The name of any complainant shall be considered confidential information unless the complainant requests otherwise. If no violations exist at the time of inspection, this finding shall be noted on the written record and the case closed. A copy of the inspector&rsquo;s written record shall be made available to the property owner on request. However, the name of the complainant shall be removed unless the complainant otherwise requests.
