538 charsBy letter dated July 15, 1994, Qureshi gave notice of the exercise of the further extension option. Fiske, which now owned the property where Qureshi was a tenant, acknowledged the extension by letter dated July 18, 1994, in which Fiske spelled out the adjusted rental schedule for each of the five years (again there was an increase every year) from August, 1994, through July, 1999. The Fiske letter spoke in terms of “lease renewal” and granted Qureshi “the option to renew for the following five years under the existing lease terms.”
