The concept of “reasonable accommodation” was adopted by the Fair Housing Act from § 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, 29 U.S.C. § 794, and cases interpreting that term under the Rehabilitation Act are applicable to claims brought pursuant to the Fair Housing Act. See Groner v. Golden Gate Gardens Apartments, 250 F.3d 1039, 1044 (6th Cir. 2001); Smith & Lee Assocs., Inc. v. Taylor, 102 F.3d 781, 795 (6th Cir. 1996).
