Medford Revised Ordinances ch. 38 (Environment) § 38-37

In addition to the above, if criminal prosecution is pursued, the following suggestions
are hereby made to the courts of competent jurisdiction authorized to order a person
or persons in violation to perform community service:

(1)

For the first offender, community service should be discretionary;

(2)

For the second offender, in addition to the monetary penalty, 50 hours of community
service is suggested;

(3)

For the third offender, in addition to the monetary penalty, 75 hours of community
service is suggested.
