Minneapolis Code of Ordinances Title 12 (Housing) § 244.2070.

244.2070. - Prohibition on use of rent-setting algorithms.

An owner or operator may not use an algorithmic device when setting rents or occupancy
levels for dwelling units. To the extent permitted by law, tenants may bring a civil
action in district court to recover compensatory damages and reasonable attorney's
fees and costs from a owner or operator found to have violated this section.
