Beginning March 1, 2016, and continuing thereafter, the owner of any dwelling which
is required to be licensed by this chapter shall provide information about how a voter
may register in the State of Minnesota, in a manner approved by the city, to all tenants
aged eighteen (18) or older at the time of first occupancy.

Submit current application information as required by section 244.1860 of this chapter.
(8)
Disclosures; before signing lease. The owner of any dwelling which is required to
be licensed by this chapter shall provide information regarding the rental property,
in a manner approved by the director of regulatory services, to all prospective tenants
prior to entering into a lease with the prospective tenant. Such information shall
include:
a.
Prior to commencement of the tenancy or within the rental agreement there shall be
disclosed to the residential tenant the name and contact information of the person
authorized to manage the premises and the name and physical address of the landlord
or an agent authorized by the landlord to accept service of process and receive and
give receipt for notices and demands;
b.
The rental license tier status of the property;
c.
Information regarding violations of the housing code that contributed to the tier
status of the property;
d.
A copy of all unabated orders and violation tags affecting the dwelling unit or common
areas of the property;
e.
An overview of how garbage, recycling, and organics recycling are managed at the property
pursuant to Chapter 225 Article VI. Recycling at Buildings Having Two (2) or More Dwelling Units; and
f.
